Our firewall is NAT-ing traffic to the DMZ address of UAG. I have pointed a dns record to an external ip. Do we, and if so, how do we need to confgure the static route on the UAG? For some reason my cheesy head cannot get a grip on that. The firewall routes the traffic through a default 0.0.0.0 route to the internet through. This VMWare guide states ( ) that the default gwateway must "be specified if Unified Access Gateway needs to communicate to an IP address that is not on a local segment of any NIC in Unified Access Gateway."ĭoesn't that automatically mean that the default gateway must be set on the internet facing NIC?Īll the VLAN's in our network have their gateway on the firewall. I'm trying to figure out the network connection settings and static routing. Gateway is for every network the first available address: No.1 (E.g 172.16.100.1) We are in the process of creating a pilot environment for Horizon.Because of that we have some questions about the Unified Access Gateway network configuration. We would like to configure an installation with three interfaces:ġ72.16.100.100 - Internet Facing network (DMZ) 10.10.0.100 - Management Network 192.168.100.100 - Server network with Connection Server 192.168.200.0/24 - Client network with VDI's We have some Horizon Noob questions regarding UAG networking an hope someone can help us a bit.
